MEASUREMENTS: Ring head measures 14.5mm long x 13mm wide.
Garnet cabochon measures 9mm x 5mm, weighing approx. 1.30ct.
Band is 3mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 4.6g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 9ct Gold, Garnet (1.30ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Garnet shows minor, even surface abrasions visible under magnification. The chased border and shoulders display light softening to the high points with crisp definition overall; the setting is secure and the closed back intact. The inscription is partly worn in places but the date “1829” remains clear; no obvious dents or losses noted.
