MEASUREMENTS: Sapphire measures 7.5mm long x 8.5mm wide, weighing approx. 1.35ct.
Ring band is 1.5mm wide at the back.
WEIGHT: 2.5g.

MATERIALS: Tests as 18ct Gold, Cornflower Sapphire (1.35ct).

HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Cornflower Sapphire is bright and securely set with no obvious chips or abrasions, showing only light, age-consistent facet wear. The 18ct White Gold coronet and pierced gallery display gentle surface wear and a touch of patina in the recesses; all prongs are present. There is a visible resize to the shank, and overall the ring has been well cared for.
