Brimming with Edwardian romance, this Chester-hallmarked 9ct Gold ring pairs a richly engraved signet silhouette with a glowing orange Agate cabochon. The gemstone sits proudly within a raised closed bezel, its smooth, luminous dome complemented by scrolling foliate detail that flows across the shoulders and around the head.

Dated to 1907, the warm 9ct Gold has developed a soft patina that nestles beautifully in the chased decoration, enhancing every curve and flourish. Elegant yet robust, it’s a refined everyday heirloom with a touch of colour—its orange Agate weighing approximately 0.75ct.

HALLMARKS: Maker's Mark R.P, Chester Assay, 9, 375, Date letter G for 1907.

Condition

VERY GOOD: The Agate cabochon presents well with a glossy dome and is securely set, with no obvious damage visible. The Gold shows light surface wear and a gentle patina to the engraved recesses, in keeping with age. Evidence of a previous resize is visible to the band; overall the ring has been well cared for and remains crisp and wearable.
